Description A Class II Inspection was conducted at the Orcas Village Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) on July 24-25, 1990. The Orcas Village STP is a small facility (design capacity 10,000 gpd) serving development near the Orcas Island ferry landing. The facility is the only one of its kind in Western Washington: a recirculating gravel filter system treating septic tank effluent. Discharge is into Harney Channel as limited by NPDES Permit No. WA-003091-1.
