Description A Class II Inspection was conducted on April 8-10, 1991, at the ARCO Petroleum Products Company Cherry Point Refinery (ARCO). Sediments were collected near the ARCO outfall on April 16, 1991, as part of the inspection. Inspection results were within daily maximum and daily average NPDES permit limits. Some differences in Ecology laboratory results and ARCO laboratory results for BOD5, TSS, COD, and hexavalent chromium were noted. Also, amphipod and echinoderm larvae mortality was observed in the edge of dilution zone sediment and echinoderm larvae mortality was observed in the background sediment.
