Description A Class II Inspection was conducted at the City of Ellensburg Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) on April 19 and 20, 1994. The plant was producing a good quality effluent. The effluent met the limits in Ellensburg's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for BOD5, total suspended solids (TSS), and pH. Fecal coliform counts met weekly average limits and in one sample out of four exceeded monthly limits. Infiltration appeared to be responsible for the weak influent to the WWTP.
