Description | Forty-three pesticides or breakdown products and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were analyzed in mussels (Mytilus trossulus ) collected from five sites in Puget Sound and one site at the mouth of the Columbia River. DDT, metabolites DDE and DDD, dieldrin, endosulfan, chlordane, gamma BHC (lindane), and PCBs were the most frequently detected. |
