Description Twenty-seven wells were sampled near Mt. Vernon, Washington for pesticides and nitrate+nitrite as N. Field measurements of water temperature, pH, and specific conductance were also made. Wells were located in the Skagit Delta Surficial Aquifer underlying the Skagit River delta.
