Description | Waste Load Allocations (WLAs) for biochemical oxygen demand for the Inland Empire Paper Company (IEP) discharge to the Spokane River were revised based on new data collected by IEP during 1995. The new data showed lower ratios of ultimate carbonaceous to 5-day BOD and higher rates of BOD decay compared with the previous data collected by Ecology during 1992. The revised WLAs were found to be similar to, but more restrictive than the WLAs previously proposed by Ecology. | ||||
