Description This progress report is one in a series describing the results of ground water sampling at Restover Truck Stop. This report describes the results of samples collected for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and total xylenes (BTEX), and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) in February and August 1997. Ecology has conducted ground water sampling at this site from 1987 to the present. To remediate soil and ground water contamination a vapor extraction system (VES) was constructed in the summer of 1993. The VES operated steadily from February 1994 to June 1995. Since the summer of 1995 the system has been operated sporadically.
