Description This report describes Ecology's study of on-road emission testing, a newly available motor vehicle emission check technology, to evaluate whether it could be a useful part of Washington's Emission Check Program. Ecology's study is part of an overall evaluation of the Emission Check Program. The Emission Check Program tests tailpipe exhaust of motor vehicles to identify those with excessive air pollutant emissions so that they can be repaired to pollute less.
