Description | Intertidal seepage and sediment samples collected at Whitmarsh Landfill on Padilla Bay Lagoon were analyzed to identify chemical contaminants of potential concern to marine life and human health. A sediment quality survey was subsequently conducted in the lagoon. Results are compared to historical data and evaluated in terms of elevations over reference areas, compliance with state Sediment Management Standards, and sources of contamination. The data appendix (Appendix G) for this report is Publication No. 99-307. |
