Description This report summarizes and evaluates the results of a cooperative ground water project conducted by the United States Geological Survey (U.S.G.S.) and the Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) in Island County. Ten monitoring wells were drilled during 1983 on Camano and Whidbey Islands. Research focused on the subject of seawater intrusion into fresh water aquifers throughout Island County.
