Description The Seawater Intrusion (SWI) Project staff from the Department of Ecology surveyed chloride concentrations in selected wells in the Puget Sound Region. We sampled from June through November 1988 to: Provide current information on some high chloride concentrations that might be the result of seawater intrusion, to raise questions regarding future chloride sampling needs, and initiate a sampling and analysis program that could be useful for future chloride investigations. This report presents the data collected and methods used.
