Description | In January 2002, the Washington State Departments of Agriculture, Community Trade and Economic Development, Ecology, and Health asked the Area-wide Soil Contamination Task Force to provide recommendations on how the agencies might improve the ways we respond to elevated levels of arsenic and lead in soils in Washington State. After 18 months of deliberation, the Task Force delivered their recommendations to the four agencies on June 30, 2003. This document is the recommendations of the Task Force.
