Description | The Department of Ecology is proposing to remove the Train Station Mini Mart Site from the Hazardous Sites List. This Site is located at 900 East Methow Valley Highway, Twisp, and is currently a restaurant. Previously, it had been a gas station. In 2006, underground storage tanks ontaining petroleum were removed. Soil samples confirmed petroleum contamination. Public comments will be accepted March 26 through April 27, 2009.
