Description The purpose of this document is to identify sources of mercury, outline the existing regulatory structure around mercury and existing mercury reduction efforts, and identify possible strategies for further mercury reduction. This information will serve as the basis for the Washington State Mercury Chemical Action Plan, which will prioritize mercury sources for reduction, evaluate reduction strategies, and identify areas for further research.
