Description Since 1998, the Washington State Department of Ecology has proposed three lists or listing processes of persistent, bioaccumulative toxins (PBTs) with varying degrees of supporting information. The primary focus of this document is the public comments submitted to Ecology in March 2001 on Appendix E of the Proposed PBT Strategy (December 2000).
