Description | This is the study plan for Task 3B of the Control of Toxic Chemicals in Puget Sound: SUSTAIN Modeling for Controlling Toxic Chemicals in Small Streams. SUSTAIN was developed by EPA as a decision support system to facilitate the selection and placement of best management practices and low impact development techniques at strategic locations in urban watersheds. The project objectives include evaluating a real-world example and determine whether and how well SUSTAIN can address metals and other toxic chemicals. The basin selected for modeling is one of the 16 monitored in the Phase 3 Toxics in Surface Runoff project. | ||||
