Description This report summarizes the seventh year of a long-term study to evaluate contaminant trends in age-dated lake sediment cores across the state. In 2012, sediment cores were collected from Deer Lake, Lake Stevens, and West Medical Lake. Sediments were analyzed for lead, mercury, and perfluorinated compounds (PFCs). Contaminant trends varied in the three lake sediment cores.
