Description The scope of work described in this Sampling and Analysis Plan is designed to aid in the establishment of regional background sediment concentrations to support implementation of the 2013 Sediment Management Standards (SMS) rule revisions. The regional background concentrations established as part of this characterization will be used for comparison with contaminated sediment sites in the North Olympic Peninsula ranging from Port Townsend in the east to Port Angeles in the west.
