Description | In 2017, the U.S. Department of Justice entered into a settlement with Volkswagen that requires the automaker to pay $2.7 billion into an Environmental Mitigation Trust. Washington State is eligible for $112.7 million from the settlement. This plan provides an overview of how the funds can be used, eligible project categories, projected reductions in emissions, health impacts, and the approach to involve the public. | ||||
