Description | This focus sheet walks through the 2018 Water Quality Assessment process. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved the Department of Ecology’s most recent updates to the state’s Water Quality Assessment on August 26, 2022. Taking the form of an interactive online tool, the Assessment pulls together existing data for fresh and marine water. This tool helps us, and others see where water quality is improving, where to prioritize future improvement plans, and where we need more data. |
