| Description | This document is an update to the 2015 Wetland Program Plan (WPP) – see Related Publications below. This update should not be read in isolation. It serves as a supplement to the existing 2015 WPP. Washington’s Wetland Program Plan (WPP) was adopted in March of 2015, with a six-year planning horizon. The WPP began as a comprehensive strategy that articulated the state’s planned areas of focus in its wetland program during the 2015-2021 period. The WPP continued to be implemented as written during 2022. In updating the WPP for the period of 2023-2029, we continue to assert the importance of our wetland resources and the appropriate initial content of the plan. |
