Description A compilation of successfully implemented programs in Washington and around the nation are attached as a reference sourcebookin designing county- and city-specific waste reduction programs. This manual outlines six tools that will be helpful for implementing a waste reduction progam: education, procurement policies, policy initiatives and actions, financial incentives and disincentives, publicity and public relations, and community and volunteer activities.
