In September 2022, a release occurred from a pole-mounted transform situated in the south right-of-way of Postma Road.

The quantity of released oil was estimated as less than a gallon. Analysis of the mineral oil showed a total polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) concentration of 88 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg) which is above the Model Toxics Control Act Method A soil CUL of 1 mg/kg.

Contaminated soil was classified as TSCA hazardous waste. The 0.035 tons of impacted soil and associated cleanup materials were disposed of at the Chemical Waste Management (hazardous waste) facility in Arlington, Oregon.

Ecology determined that no further action is needed in December 2022.
