Station 03C060 Description
Friday Creek is a tributary to the Samish River. The creek originates at the outlet of Lake Samish near Nulle Road and flows through farmland, rural residential land and forested slopes on the north side of the Lower Samish River valley. The gage at Friday Creek is three-quarters of a mile upstream of the confluence with the Samish River and about half a mile below the Samish Hatchery. The Samish Hatchery produces chinook salmon. The creek also supports steelhead, coho, and chum salmon as well as native trout species.
