Station 45E070 Description
Mission Creek originates from Mission Ridge, draining 59,609 acres, and flows north emptying into the Wenatchee River at the town of Cashmere at river mile 10.4. The lowest tributary to the Wenatchee subbasin, the arid environment of the Mission Creek watershed contains many intermittent channels that become dry in mid to late summer. Approximately 80% of the watershed is managed by the US Forest Service with the remaining 20% in private ownership. Land use throughout the watershed includes timber harvest, road development, agriculture, residential development, and recreation. This location is near a TMDL water quality monitoring site.
