Study Result Description | Some of the bioassay data is qualified with dissolved oxygen and temperature deviations from recommended protocols. These deviations are not expected to have influenced the results. Also the bioassay positive control had an LC50 greater than 4000µg/L of Cu, well beyond the control limits. In fact in all replicates for the positive control more than 80% of the chironomids survived. This deviation is not expected to influence the results since test sediments experienced reductions in survival when compared to the reference or control. |
