Study Result DescriptionSome districts substantially exceeded one sediment quality guideline, and other districts exceeded several guidelines. Additional sediment sampling should be conducted in other streams that drain those districts to determine the extent of impacts.
Study CommentWater samples were collected upstream and downstream of each district during the summer and fall 2000 for low-flow conditions, and during spring 2001 for high-flow conditions. Sediment samples were collected during low flow.
