| Study Purpose | Pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) will be analyzed in effluents and groundwater at three reclaimed water treatment facilities in Washington State - Yelm, Quincy, and LOTT Martin Way – in the Spring and Fall of 2011. The samples will be analyzed for 117 PPCPs and 27 synthetic or naturally occurring steroids and hormones using isotopic dilution methods. Detection limits will be in the low parts per trillion. |
