Study NameWashington State Toxics Monitoring Program (WSTMP), Semipermeable Membrane Devices (SPMDs) Trends Monitoring 2009.
EIM Data Entry Review StatusReviewed
Study TypeGeneral environmental study
Study PurposeThis project began in 2007 with the goal to detect trends in Persistant Bioaccumulative Toxic (PBT) chemicals after a minimum of four years of sampling. Target chemicals included chlorinated pesticides (CPs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Quality control sampling conducted during the spring of 2009 helped characterize variability in the sampling system for PBDEs, PCBs, and PAHs.
