Study Result Description | The quality of pH sensor data precision and accuracy do not meet our current understanding and requirements to measure pH status and trends and biological impacts. We carefully conducted quality control of the pH sensor data to the best technical practices the pH sensor can offer and with understanding of its limitations.
The quality of PAR sensor data rely on ambient downwelling and upwelling photosynthetically available radiation in the water column. The data have not been corrected for confounding environmental factors such as varying sun angle during sampling, changes in cloud cover, reflections of the CTD frame, and shadows of the airplane near the surface. |
