Formerly produced by Siemens Power Corp., this Ammonium Hydroxide is a secondary material resulting from the process Framatome ANP uses to manufacture nuclear fuel assemblies for commercial nuclear power plants. This product contains very low levels of uranium (max. 0.05 part per million). In addition to the normal review process for waste-derived products, this material was reviewed by the Dept. of Health - Division of Radiation Protection and it was determined that use of this material as a fertilizer would have no adverse impacts on public health.
