The leachable levels of cadmium and chromium reported for this product were over the limits (Cd - 1.0 mg/l, and Cr - 5.0 mg/l). A review of the ingredients and sources in this fertilizer showed it contains ferrous sulfate which originates in a pickling liquor from the steel mill industry. The ferrous sulfate used in this product was registered in WA by Crown Technology and the test data provided by Crown Technology passed Ecology review. No other wastes are used in this product so it meets the Review Criteria.
