| Description | In August 2000, the Washington State Department of Ecology released the Draft Strategy to Continually Reduce Persistent, Bioaccumulative, Toxic Chemicals (PBTs) in Washington State. At that time, the agency announced a public comment period through October 30, 2000, and followed with five public meetings to explain the draft PBT Strategy and gather comments. These meetings took place in Bellingham, Spokane, Kennewick, Vancouver, and Seattle between September 21 and October 12, 2000. This publication summarizes Ecology’s responses to these comments. |
