Description | On February 12, 2001, Ecology adopted amendments to Chapter 173-340 WAC, the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulation. The amendments became effective on August 15, 2001. The document provides reasons for adopting the rule, describes any differences between the proposed and adopted rules, and provides Ecology’s response to public comments on the proposed rule. Appendix B and C include a transcript of public hearings and a copy of written comments on the proposed rule. Appendix D includes the bases for the updated Method A soil and groundwater cleanup levels. |
