Description A review of the 1998 303(d) list of water quality limited waterbodies in Washington State identified 45 listings for 11 rivers and streams where there was reason to question the appropriateness of their being listed for violations of state water quality standards for metals, due to the listing being based on questionable historical data, availability of newer data, or expected water quality improvements as a result of cleanups. It was recommended that 29 of these listings be removed, based on existing information.
