Description The Washington State Department of Ecology's Freshwater Monitoring Unit (FMU) collects data on water quality and the biological health of our state's rivers and streams. This report summarizes FMU activities and monitoring results from chemical and biological monitoring, aquatic plant monitoring, random design monitoring, and Total Maximum Daily Load effectiveness monitoring.
