Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology Freshwater Monitoring Unit collected monthly water quality information at 100 stream monitoring stations during Water Year 2006 (October 1, 2005 - September 30, 2006). We also collected 30-minute interval temperature data at 80 sites from June through September 2006. The principal goals of this ongoing monitoring program are to characterize the rivers and streams of Washington State and to track changes in water quality. This report documents data quality and presents results for Water Year 2006. The report also includes an evaluation of the difference between grab sample seasonal maximum temperature and maximum 7-day average daily maximum temperature. |
