Description | This report describes the comprehensive plan for Washington State to reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and expand our clean energy economy. It presents a coordinated set of policies—including incentives, regulations, and disincentives to meet the GHG emission reductions that were adopted into law in 2008. The required reductions are: *Return to 1990 GHG emission levels by 2020. *Reduce emissions 25 percent below 1990 levels by 2035. *Reduce emissions 50 percent below 1990 levels by 2050. |
