Description The Washington State Department of Ecology's Marine Sediment Monitoring Team conducted annual sediment sampling in April and June, 2010, as part of the Puget Sound Assessment and Monitoring Program (PSAMP) and Ecology's Urban Water's Initiative (UWI). Extra sediment samples were collected in April at both PSAMP and UWI stations to measure concentrations of Personal Care Products and Pharmaceuticals and Perfluorinated Chemicals at these locations. Additional samples were also collected in June to measure dioxin and furan concentrations in Bellingham Bay sediments for Ecology’s Toxic Cleanup Program. This addendum to the 2009 Quality Assurance Project Plan provides details regarding the new sampling locations and parameters sampled for each of the four sediment monitoring projects conducted in 2010.
