Description This South Lewis County Subarea Plan is based on a characterization of watershed hydrologic processes, a landscape habitat assessment, an economic forecast, land use assumptions, and input from a broad-based local stakeholders group. The purpose of this document is to present the results of the characterization of watershed processes and wildlife for the study area.

The methods for this characterization have since developed into a more robust analysis and applied to all of Puget Sound. Though the South Lewis County characterization results are from an earlier version of the methods, they still apply the same principles and are useful for general planning purposes.
