| Description | The proposed amendments to Chapter 173-50 make significant changes to elements of the rule concerning fees and timing in the lab accreditation process. Proposed changes to business practices reflect program reductions in the Lab Accreditation program, in response to cuts in the state budget, as well as equitable treatment across different types of accreditation. Ecology concluded that the qualitative and quantitative benefits of the proposed rule are likely to exceed its costs. | ||||
