| Description | The Department of Ecology is proposing to adopt the Children’s Safe Products - Reporting Rule. The proposal notice will be published in the Washington State Register on April 20th, 2011. This is a supplemental filing. Ecology made a number of changes in response to comments received during the first comment period, which closed January 7th, 2011. The public now has an additional opportunity to comment on these changes. The purpose of the proposed rule is to implement the reporting requirements of the Children’s Safe Product Act (RCW 70.240). Ecology has issued a Small Business Economic Impact Statement (SBEIS) and a preliminary cost-benefit analysis, which are also available for review and comment until June 2nd, 2011. |
