Description Streams in the Hangman Creek watershed do not meet state water quality standards for fecal coliform, turbidity, and elevated water temperatures. In 2009 EPA approved the Hangman Creek multi-parameter water quality improvement report (WQIR) developed by Ecology and the Spokane County Conservation District. This implementation plan expands on the strategy outlined in the WQIR, laying out roles and responsibilities for addressing various water quality issues in the watershed.
