The Washington State Department of Ecology is providing an opportunity for the public to comment on upcoming activities at the Sunnyside Municipal Airport Pesticide Spray Shed, located at 3318 East Edison Road in Sunnyside, Washington. The Sunnyside Municipal Airport Pesticide Spray Shed has soil contaminated with chemicals historically used for pesticides. Ecology has drafted an Agreed Order for a Remedial Investigation (RI), which will gather more information about how much contamination is present. Ecology is asking for your comments on the Agreed Order. Comments will be accepted March 13, 2013, through April 12, 2013. |
