| Description | Polychaete taxonomy workshops were held at the Department of Ecology’s benthic laboratory from July 2013 through August 2014. Sessions were conducted by Kathy Welch, Ecology’s regional polychaete taxonomy specialist. Key morphological features for Puget Sound species were identified and photographed, peer-reviewed taxonomic literature was consulted and referenced, and notes were generated. This set of workshop notes includes species from the Family Cossuridae. Printed copies are not available. |
