| Description | The objective of this project is to enforce the Better Brakes Law by identifying uncertified and inaccurately certified brake products (brake pads and shoes). This study targets testing on uncertified brake friction materials still available for sale in Washington State. Additional testing will be performed on certified products to verify the accuracy of certification information submitted to Ecology’s Better Brakes Program. | ||||
