Description In 2014/2015 Washington State Department of Ecology conducted a water quality study to investigate possible sources of fecal contamination in the North Ocean Beach area (Anderson, 2016). Data from this study identified areas with impaired water quality. This proposed sampling plan will focus on bacteria in the ditches on Damon Road near Illahee and Oyehut as well as the ditches south along W Chance A La Mer NW. The adjacent marine waters will also be sampled to see if ditch concentrations follow similar patterns as those seen in the near-shore marine environment.
