| Description | The Schlueter Property is located at 1515 196th Street SE in Bothell, Washington. Pursuant to Ecology’s receipt of illegal dumping complaints on the property, the Snohomish Health District collected soil samples at the site in February 2005 and completed a Site Hazard Assessment (SHA), on behalf of Ecology. The resulting SHA rank for the site was 4, based on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 represents the greatest potential impact to human health and the environment. The property was added to the Ecology Confirmed and Suspected Contaminated Sites List in February 2006. The site entered the Voluntary Cleanup Program in June 2017. Chemicals of concern identified in the SHA were petroleum hydrocarbons and heavy metals. Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) has determined the Site cleanup effort meets state cleanup standards and is protective of human health and the environment. Therefore, Ecology is proposing to remove the Site from the Hazardous Sites List.
