This document delineates the Department of Ecology’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for field procedures to passively collect stormwater solids, sometimes called suspended particulate matter, from stormwater runoff in storm drains using in-line solids traps. This SOP attempts to standardize installation and stormwater solids sample collection from in-conveyance locations. |
