Description | In this study, Ecology will conduct a spatial survey of the Spokane River using biofilms, sediments, and invertebrates to assess PCB sources. The goals of this study are to: (1) Characterize PCB concentrations in biofilm, sediment, and invertebrates in the Spokane River. (2) Evaluate the use of biofilms for tracing PCB sources in the Spokane River. (3) Evaluate the presence of previously unidentified sources of PCBs to the Spokane River. |
